Visit the Historic Daniel Boone Home for a different kind of Halloween treat. Travel back to a time where not everything is as it appears. The Historic Daniel Boone Home and Boonesfield Village is hosting their annual Halloween Event on October 24, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Walk the lantern-lit paths to the Boone Home and hear stories of ghosts and goblins that will prickle your skin. Then proceed down to Boonesfield Village to hear hauntingly good music and tales of unexplained things in the night. This Halloween Event is kid friendly and also a great evening for the whole family to enjoy. Bonfires will be stationed around the village for visitors to warm up and hear true tales and facts about Halloween on the Missouri frontier. Admission prices are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors (age 55 and up), and $4 for children (between age 4 and 11.) Family rates begin at $25 and include two adults and up to five children. Group rates are available with two weeks prior notice. Please call 636-798-2005 for more information or visit our website www.lindenwood.edu/boone and click on the Calendar of Events.
