Spring is Grow Time! All public schools systems are closed so we invite you to join us for this special program! We will discuss seeds, plants, composting and baby farm animals. Learn about the parts of a seed and their function, how seeds travel, germination and more. Composting is also discussed in the barn classroom. What it is and how to compost are some of the topics discussed.Take a tour of our working greenhouse & see the many varieties and sizes of plants. All children will pot a plant to take home. We then head out to the barn yard to learn about the baby animals. We will learn how baby chicks, rabbits, pigs and goats are raised and cared for. Everyone will take some time to feed the hungry goats! The program will conclude with a narrated hayride across our fields and through the Cattail Creek. All participants will recieve a 20% discount on any greenhouse purchases made this day! Tour time: Noon – 2 P.M. Cost: $8.00/child Adults are free Ages 2 & up.
