For: Home schooled children in grades Pre-k through 12th. Time: 10:30am - 11:30am When: September 20th, 2010 Where: 6300 Cochran Mill Rd. , Palmetto, GA 30268 Cost: $5 per participant (including parents) Cash or check only. September’s topic will be Granite Rock Outcroppings. Students will hike a half of a mile to this very unique habitat. They will learn about the special plants and animals that live in this habitat and why it is so important to preserve it. The minerals that make up the granite rock will also be discussed.
