With Clifford Blizard, Ph.D. 11:00am – 1:00pm $3.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members Join Clifford Blizard, Ph.D., for a brief PowerPoint talk about some of the historic remains at Cochran Mill Park, followed by a walk to visit several of the most noteworthy and accessible ruins. Expect to learn about mill technology, former residents of the park, a KKK meeting place called “The Fortress” that once stood in the area. The talk will last a half an hour and the walk an hour and a half (total distance under two miles). Children of elementary school age or older (accompanied by a parent or guardian) are welcome to attend.
