On Saturday, October 2nd at 11 AM. the Howard County-Iron Bridge Hounds will ride to the farm. Bring your binoculars to catch the spectacular view of many happy, frisky, hounds, majestic horses, riders, and the hunt master as the traditional fox chase rides to our farm! On Saturday and Sunday, we will also continue our special Decorator Weekend, so make sure you come by for all your fall decorating needs! Corn stalks, haybales, indian corn, gourds, pumpkins, mums, and pansies are all here. Also on Saturday and Sunday the special composting demonstrations given by Sharp Farm and Growing Soul, a local non-profit, will be given at noon, 2, 3, & 4 PM. This is your opportunity to learn all about composting!! Free hayrides will be given throughout the weekend to our large fields of home grown pumpkins! Our 10+ acre educational corn maze and mini maze are also open all weekend. You might want to make a family scarecrow, feed the farm animals, or picnic by our pond. Our country store and all activities are available from 10 AM. to 5 PM.
