The Smoky Hill Museum is offering a free Holiday Open House, Saturday, December 4, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Enjoy a heartland holiday with carriage rides, a pioneer Santa, crafts, music, refreshments and more. Free carriage rides will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Tickets are needed and will be available in the Museum during the Open House. Carriage rides are sponsored in part by the Historic Downtown Lee District. A prairie pioneer Santa will be on hand to visit. Be sure to bring your camera for a picture. Get creative by making your own candle, Christmas tree, paper wreath and gift bag. You are also invited to create an ornament to hang on our special Christmas memory tree. Decorate one side and write your favorite memory, gift or tradition on the other side. Special music by RoJean Loucks will bring a festive touch and be sure to enjoy delicious refreshments featuring museum store food items. Be sure to stop by the Museum Store for your holiday shopping.
