The Connecticut River is one of New England’s most beautiful waterways and is filled with hidden treasures and spectacular views of the Vermont and New Hampshire landscapes. Join us as we explore this historic river, camping on it’s banks. As we paddle downstream, our pace offers opportunities to learn new canoeing and outdoor skills, while leaving time to relax, take pictures and make new friends. You and your family will spend valuable time together that is often lost in the hectic pace of everyday living. Skilled instruction, transportation, canoes, cooking gear, group equipment, and delicious food are all provided by the Hulbert Outdoor Center. Our adventure begins at Hulbert Outdoor Center Friday night with introductions and equipment orientation. While at the Center, delicious, hearty and well balanced meals are served in our sunny dining hall. Sleeping Accommodations include six comfortable, winterized cabins, each with three or four bedrooms, two baths and cozy living rooms. Accommodations while on the river are in tents, which Hulbert will provide. The trip will end mid-afternoon on Sunday to allow a relaxing drive home. -No experience necessary -All inclusive -A confirmation letter, trip itinerary, packing list and map will be sent upon receipt of registration. -Deposit is non-refundable in case of withdrawal except in the event of illness. -Participants are responsible for the full tuition if withdrawal, for reasons other than illness, is made within 30 days of the start of the trip.
