Description: CHIEFS, Christian Home Inspirational and Educational Family Schools, offers many fun-filled activities to enrich our student's education. Monthly field trips, student speaking days, a reading club, music, physical education, and holiday socials are events geared to enhance knowledge and fellowship for students and homeschool providers. We communicate primarily through emails, general meetings, and occasional phone trees. Requirements: We require that you attend one meeting within 60 days of joining.

Description: Welcome. This group is for anyone in Clark County that homeschools. We will host play groups, outings and classes that will be open to all ages. Combined learning is something that homeschooling families with varied ages of children most likely are already doing but this group will allow it to continue in a group setting so we can all get together and have fun. Members must maintain activity both online and in person to remain in the group, this is an all inclusive group so members must be open-minded. I hope we can make this group a great resource for area homeschoolers that are looking for a place to learn as one.

Description: Eagles was started by a small group of homeschooling parents who recongnized the needs of the growing home-school community in Las Vegas. It has since grown to approx. 150 families and is a ministry of Canyon Ridge Christian Church. Eagles provides a variety of social, educational, and spiritual opportunities for both children and parents. Eagles is a co-op in which all members actively participate according to their interest, abilites, gifts and talents. Every member serves in some capacity by leading or helping on a committee. This helps spread the workload and creats an atmosphere that helps us get to know other homeschooling families. We encourage you to bring your own ideas to Eagles and possibly start something new!
Requirements: There is a once a year registration fee which is subject to change. We ask that everyone participate.
Benefits: We have field trips, co-op classes, parent information meetins, special speakers, activities for all ages so that lasting friendships can be made.

Description: Our children are our future and it is important for us to bring them up so they will be prepared with an excellent education and strong values. This group is for those homeschoolers in the Pahrump, Nevada (we are 1 1/2 hours from Las Vegas) area who have chosen to raise and teach their children in the home. LDS and like-minded families are welcome to share in our passion for teaching our children. This group has weekly classes which have sign ups prior to and usually last 8-12 weeks. We have field trips monthly or bimonthly. We share local resources with one another as well as are a support to one another in our shared passion for educating our children. We also work with other homeschool groups in Pahrump to help build a stong homeschool community here and to give the support needed to our children so that we can give our children the best education possible.
Requirements: There is no lurking. You must speak up from time to time so we know who you are. Members do not need to be LDS, but they must be friendly to LDS people. You do not have to participate in our activities, but are strongly encouraged to.

Description: Nevada Homeschool Network (NHN) strives to advocate for homeschooling and to look out for the freedom of each family to educate their own children as they see best. It is our intent to respond to the wishes, concerns and interests of the homeschooling community, and to report on legislative, legal and other matters relevant to homeschooling and family education. We are a political and resource group, not a support group. We have an Alert Loop, sponsor an annual convention in Las Vegas and host many informational meetings throughout the year.
Requirements: Anyone may join who wishes to support lesser restrictions and more parental responsibility in homeschooling in Nevada.

Description: Northern Nevada Home Schools, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to support and encourage homeschool parents and students who have legally chosen the home education option in northern Nevada. We support all ages K-12, and support other support groups. Approximately 200 families are members, and more participate in NNHS activities as non-members.
Requirements: Volunteering is not necessary, but is encouraged and rewarded. The activities we provide would not be possible without our volunteers. For members who organize two field trips in a year, or help NNHS in other significant ways, membership renewal is complimentary.
Benefits: NNHS produces a monthly electronic newsletter, maintains a website and furnishes website services to support groups, provides merchant discounts, organizes and publicizes group activities, maintains an activity calendar, provides liability insurance for group activities, operates a lively email discussion list, sponsors various homeschool teams in regional and national competitions, sponsors a chapter of the National Homeschool Honor Society, maintains a lending library of educational materials, and much more!

Description: We are a Christian Homeschool Support Group, although we do not discriminate, we allow anyone to join our group. We meet each Friday for Bowling or Skating or a Field Trip of the Month. We have an end of the year promotion ceremony. We also have Park Days when the weather is appropriate. Our favorite support is our MNO (Mom's Night Out) We are a year around group. We meet in the summertime for planned activities. We also advocate Library Days.
Requirements: At this time we do require you read our statement of faith and your family signs our rules and regulations for field trips and outings.
Benefits: We provide a member handbook when you join we has general information also a monthly newsletter on upcoming events we also offered planned discounted field trips, we have a lending library and general support from all the members. We will be planning a teaching day for members with a talent who choose to teach. Example: horse riding lessons, knitting class, sewing classes, leather crafts course.
