| Requirements: A CHEC member must be a parent and/or guardian who is currently providing instruction or educational supervision on a regular basis to his/her child who resides with such parent or guardian; or a parent or guardian who will be providing such instruction or educational supervision in the upcoming school year. CHEC members who have graduated their children (through homeschooling) may continue their membership with the purpose of helping others.

| Description: This support group is designed specifically to be a support to homeschooling moms. The women meet once per month (1st Thursday at 6:30 pm) at the Southaven Public Library for a time of refreshment, encouragement, sharing and prayer. There are some long-time, older women in the group who intentionally mentor younger women and we share our joys and struggles and pray with each other. We have a field trip with the children once a month to various places around northern MS and the Memphis metro area.

| Requirements: We ask that people who join attempt to be regular in attendance and they must sign a statement agreeing to abide by the groups guidelines. Yearly dues and 12 self-address, stamped envelopes must be provided for membership.

| Benefits: We have monthly field trips, a monthly intentional spiritual and emotional support meeting for moms and a monthly newsletter.

| Description: We are affiliated with the Mississippi Home Education Association. We meet once a month for Mother's night out. We have a field trip planned for once a month. We print a newsletter once a month. We are joined together with like minded people to support one another and give encouragement to each other. |
| Requirements: Christian families who have signed a Statement of Faith and filled out the Family Information Sheet and paid dues of $15.00 are welcomed to join. All activities are for Parent and student, no babysitting here. |
| Benefits: We publish a monthly newsletter. We schedule field trips once a month. We have a family night every other month with potluck meals a time of sharing for the students, and a devotion for the entire group. We have a resource center located at Waller's Discount Drugs on South Lamar near the Hospital here in Oxford. Mississippi Home Educators tapes from the past conferences are there as well as books available for check out.

| Description: Parent Educators And Kids (PEAK) on the Coast! PEAK is an inclusive, non-affiliated, member-led group for homeschooling families. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious belief, homeschooling methodology, lifestyle choice or political affiliation. Non-affiliated means the group does not engage in forwarding a specific religious, educational or political agenda. By "member-led", we mean you hold the reigns. There are no group dues, no statements of faith, and no centralized leadership.

| Requirements: Political posturing, conversion coercion and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Please, be courteous and respectful. In an effort to prevent spam your membership will require approval. Please give your name, share how many kids you have and their names and how long you have been homeschooling or why you are considering homeschooling.

| Benefits: We go on field trips, do cultural studies, host art and craft events, whatever the members want to do.

| Description: We meet on the 1st or 2nd Thurs. of each month. We meet at Pinelake Bapt. Church on Hwy. 25 in Brandon every other month for informational meetings and on the alternating month we meet at a local restaurant for a "Moms night out" or Parents night out. We meet for monthly Field trips and/or Service Projects. We have several co-ops within our group: (creative writing, biology, state flags and capitals) When the weather permits, we meet weekly for a Park playgroup, social time. We have 23 member families with ages ranging from toddlers to High Schoolers.

| Requirements: We do require that at least one parent professes to be a Christian.

| Benefits: We schedule Monthly Field Trips and Quarterly Service Projects through the school year. |
