Description: This group is for all ages. We meet monthly for enrichment classes or "fairs" at the local library. We offer Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Art classes every other week, teen reading group, fieldtrips, mom's night out, and support! There are fees associated with some of our activities, but not to join. We are an inclusive group, but all tend to be of the Christian faith at this time. No faith statement, just a coincidence that we are all Christian but various denominations. E-mail is the way we communicate and it is hard to follow the groups plans without e-mail access.
Requirements: We require that all who belong to our yahoo group are attending some of our activities so that we know everyone who is on the e-mail list. This is for the protection of our families. We also require that every family contributes in a way that is suited to their abilities.

It's purpose is to bring together a huge diverse group of homeschoolers into community projects and create public awarness. H.E.A.R.T.S. began in N.J. by a homeschooling mom named Michele Pulis. It is now a national program. This group is for homeschoolers in the Western Maryland area. This group is where we will be posting all activities.
