| North Alabama Secular Homeschooling |
|
|
| Geographic Area Serving: North Alabama (primarily Hunstville and surrounding areas) |
| Description: Hi,
I'm trying to start a site for secular/non-christian homeschoolers in North Alabama (primarily Huntsville and surrounding areas) so that we can find one another. The site would primarily be for sharing learning activities, reading, etc. that might not be well received by sites run by Christian cover schools. Also, it would allow us to find one another and set up play dates or field trips regardless of cover school. |
| Requirements: None |
| Benefits: This is a new site, so we'll see who joins and where it takes us!
I often feel out of place in the highly religious discussions that inevitably take place on field trips within my cover school, and I don't really feel comfortable with the thought of anyone there finding out I do not share their beliefs. As such, I wanted to set up a social network for anyone else that might be experiencing the same problem. |
