Description: Our group meets at 7:30 the third Monday of every
month. Our meetings include announcements, a speaker on a particular
topic of interest to home schoolers and an opportunity to browse and
borrow from the library. We have 63 families in our group. Ages range
from 1 to 18.
Requirements: We only require that you homeschool or are
interested in homeschooling
Benefits: newsletter every month, field trips, skating every
Friday, talent evening, sports day, library, speakers, support and
contacts with other homeschooling families

Description: The North Peace Home Educators Association is a
group of approximately 60 families representing 175 children. We are a
loosely knit group largely because of geographic location. Many
of our members live anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours out of town.
We provide a broad range of activities and opportunities. Check out
our website.
Requirements: We require our members to sign a "Waiver of
Liability" only. This is done on an annual basis.
Benefits: We provide a bi-monthly Newsletter, Field Trips,
Lending Library, Swimming, Gymnastics, Science Fair, Workshops, free
entrance to local convention, scholastic book club, crafting days and
sporting events.

Description: We meet the 1st Thursday of every month between
September & June from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Requirements: There are none!
Benefits: With a membership you have the benefit of being able
to sign out library books, sign up for field trips or lessons such as
swimming, skating and skiing. Come out and check out our meetings,
there is no charge. With membership, you will also have access to a
membership package which includes information such as suggested
reading materials and laws governing homeschooling in our province.

Description: Welcome to the Chatham-Kent Homeschooling and
Attachment Parenting support group! We are an informal and
member-directed group serving all of Chatham-Kent and surrounding
area...we welcome all faiths and homeschooling styles!
Requirements: Volunteer! Our goal is for each of us to take on the
initiative of bringing to the group what we like to see in a
homeschooling support group! By meeting the needs of our own families
all of our needs can be met!
