| Description: Growing Relationships and Christian Education (G.R.A.C.E.) Christian Homeschoolers of Wisconsin is an organization set up to provide moral support, informal sharing, and opportunities for fun, fellowship and the building of relationships with other families to Christian homeschool families in the southeastern Wisconsin area. It is our intention to represent the home schooling community in a manner that honors and glorifies our Lord Jesus Christ.
GRACE Christian Homeschoolers hold monthly gatherings on one Thursday morning per month called CLASS Day. A variety of CLASS Day activities are planned by the members and vary from guest speakers, to holiday parties, to game days, to a science fair and talent show!
GRACE Christian Homeschoolers offer the opportunity to attend many events and classes within the community such as homeschool zoo classes, homeschool open gym , homeschool open swimming, art classes, homeschool lego club, plays and ballets, and many other activities. Members of GRACE Christian Homeschoolers take an active part in planning a wide variety of field trips for the group to enjoy. A few examples are Richard Bong State Park, Bethlehem Marketplace, Carmex Factory Tour, Milwaukee Art Museum, Retzer, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, Wetlands by Canoe Trip, Boerner Botanical Garden Class Cheese Factory Tour and Horicon Marsh Classes, Domes tour and class, Discovery World tour and classes, Blood Center Tour and many more.
GRACE Christian Homeschoolers look for opportunities to teach our children about having a servant's heart in our homes and in our communities and organize service projects.
Social gatherings are a fun part of GRACE Christian Homeschoolers. There are Mom's Only Tea and Treats Nights and Bible studies every other week, weekly summer park days, and several opportunities for our families (especially for our dads) to gather together for family fellowship.

We also have a parent contract and a child conduct forms that we have everyone sign. This is to make sure that everyone is on the same page and that we are like minded in our desires to raise Godly Children.

We enjoy the other times we get together also- Christmas Program, Couples Christmas Banquet, Valentine Party, Mom's night out, Curriculum Fair, MACHE, National day of prayer, Track and Field Day, End of the year Picnic. such as German, Knitting and Crocheting, tie flying, Electricity, sign lanaguage, woodworking. Weekly director notes and a monthly newsletter. We offer support, encouragement and prayer.Meetings are held monthly. |
