Description: HELLO or Home Educators Local Learning Organization is an inclusive homeschoolers group for Clarke, Frederick, Warren, Shenandoah and western Loudoun counties in Virginia, as well as Jefferson County West Virginia.It is for families who wish to connect and share information with other homeschooling families in the area irrespective of educational methods, belief systems, or political affiliation. It is our philosophy that there is no one correct way to homeschool and that we all deserve respect and support for our homeschooling efforts. This list is intended for sharing information about local homeschooling events, educational resources, and personal stories.
Requirements: Our group has no requirements other than for you to introduce yourself when you apply for membership (HELLO-VA-HS-subscribe@yahoogroups.com). We screen membership applicants to protect the list from spammers.
Benefits: This group is mostly a bulletin board for folks to post activities like Park Days, Field Trip offerings, etc. We do not have meetings or other regularly organized activities. It may be used to create them, however!
