| Description: CHEA (Christian Home Educator Association) of Tipton County is a home school support group organized to offer support to families seeking to succeed in home education. We seek to glorify God and share the knowledge of His saving grace to all. Our world view is Christian. All support group activities will be conducted in a manner according to our Christian world view. |
| Requirements: Membership is open to any home educating family. We do ask that you be in agreement with our Christian world view and follow a Christian standard when planning activities and attending functions sponsored by the support group. |
| Benefits: We have several monthly activities such as mom's meetings, Bookworms Club, Teen Activities and Play Days. We have from one to four field trips per month including holiday parties. There are also a few weekly/monthly classes offered through our group. We have an end-of-the-year program that includes a talent show and Kindergarten graduation. We also have a newsletter which is free to receive via email. To receive it via post mail, the cost is $10. |

If you are currently homeschooling -- or are thinking about homeschooling -- and live within the ten-county area served by our support group, (Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln, Marion, Moore, Rutherford, and Warren Counties) we would love to hear from you. |
| Requirements: There are no requirements to belong to our group. If you want your child to participate in our co-op program, we expect you to contribute in some substantial way to its function. We either expect you to lead teach a class or 2, or assistant teach some classes, or help in other ways acceptable to the group. |
