Description: We are an email support and networking group with occasional get-togethers for homeschooling families living on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are an inclusive group with members from all races, religions, creeds, educational and learning styles. Here you will find information about educational opportunities on the island, support and answers for your questions, friends for you and your children and much more. We would love to have you join our group if you live on the Big Island or are moving to our island.
Requirements: We would love for you to share your questions, answers, and anything else you would like to regarding homeschooling.
Benefits: An email group where all members are encouraged but not required to participate, to meet, share ideas, ask questions, offer support, make friends, plan field trips or get-togethers.

Christian Home Educators of Kona

Description: We have Parent meetings monthly and also have craft classes and field trips.
Requirements: We are a Christian group, but we accept all homeschoolers.
Benefits: We have an online yahoo group which we use to stay connected and share information. We have a Resource Library available to our members.

Living Water Homeschool Co-op
Geographic Area Serving: Honolulu
Description: Living Water is a homeschool cooperative that provides a Christ-centered environment to support parent-directed education for Honolulu, Hawaii.
Requirements: Our organization meets one day per week, with classes ranging from Nursery to High School. Our focus is primarily school-aged children in Kindergarten and higher, however, we provide nursery, toddler and preschool classes for younger children. Each class is led by the parents themselves and offers numerous extra-curricular activities to help children grow throughout the year. Beyond the designation of homeschool cooperative, we want Living Water to be a ministry to the children and parents. We want the fellowship with other homeschool parents and the structure of a formal organization to be a blessing to everyone involved.
